GANAY DE BANVILLE

Saturday in Paris-Vincennes : Ganay de Banville confronts Ampia Mede SM again

Race

2 December 2021

Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes offers a magnificent race on Saturday 4 December with the Prix Doynel de Saint-Quentin, a Group II in the sulky reserved for the best 5-year-old trotters. The Prix d’Amerique Races ZEturf competition will be the common denominator of several competitors. Ganay de Banville has just taken part and obtained his ticket to the Finals in Qualif # 1 – Prix de Bretagne (third), Sunday 21 November. He will find the star of the start of the Meeting d’Hiver again: Ampia Mede SM, who beat him on November 12 in the Prix Marcel Laurent, another Group II. The resident of Fabrice Souloy will seek to secure an eighth victory in a row! She will undoubtedly line up in Qualif # 4 – Prix Ténor de Baune thereafter on Sunday, December 26th.
Power knows the ZEturf Races America Awards for competing there last year. We haven’t seen him in France since his poor performance in the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race on January 31st. Previously, he had placed fifth in Qualif # 3 – Critérium Continental. He’s the silverest of the bunch. The entourage of Galius, winner of the Group I Sulky 5 Years Final – Critérium des 5 Years in September, is playing the card of caution. Despite his record and his immense qualities, Séverine Raymond’s protégé should probably not attempt the adventure in the Prix d’Amerique Races ZEturf. He could wait for the 2022-2023 season.
