The champions who competed in the Prix de Paris Marathon Race, on Sunday February 27 at the Paris-Vincennes Hippodrome, gave the public a hell of a show! When will we see the main competitors back on track?
Diable de Vauvert, brilliant winner of the first Group I of his career, will now rest, while exercising his breeding activity. Franck Lemuet, his breeder and owner, then hopes to present him in a major race abroad, such as the Aby Grand Prix in August in Sweden. Etonnant, second, could participate in the Critérium de Vitesse de la Côte d’Azur, a Group I which will take place on Sunday March 13 in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Everything will depend on whether he has recovered well from his recent outings. Third in the Prix de Paris Marathon Race 2022, Galius will benefit from a break, like Diable de Vauvert. We will probably see him again next summer.
Ampia Mede SM, excellent fourth, will probably head for the shores of the Mediterranean to perform on the track on March 13, like Chica de Joudes (fifth), but her trainer Alain Laurent has indicated that his mare could perhaps -to end his career after his performance in the Prix de Paris Marathon Race. Fric du Chêne and Fakir du Lorault are entered on Saturday in the Prix du Plateau de Gravelle, at Paris-Vincennes. Davidson du Pont will have as his next objective the Prix de l’Atlantique, Saturday April 23 in Enghien. Flamme du Goutier is going to take a little vacation.
