Run over 2,700 metres on Vincennes\u2019 mythical outside track, 14 runners will be in the line-up, including the first three past the post in the 2015 Prix d\u2019Am\u00e9rique, namely <strong>Up and Quick<\/strong>, <strong>Voltigeur de Myrt<\/strong> and <strong>Timoko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>While <strong>Up and Quick<\/strong> will be reappearing on the back of his Grand Prix de Paris triumph 9 months ago, runner-up <strong>Voltigeur de Myrt<\/strong> embarked upon a winless European campaign during the spring, but successfully returned to Vincennes in June with a victory in the important Prix Ren\u00e9 Balli\u00e8re. Roberto Donati\u2019s charge has undeniably changed, as his two most recent wins attest. \u201cRunning behind the mobile gate in Europe means he has gained in speed,\u201d explains regular driver Gabriele Gelormini. Furthermore, he\u2019ll be in tip-top shape &#8211; unlike <strong>Timoko<\/strong>, a formidable runner-up in New-York recently, but who has needed to recharge his batteries back at home in south-west France (Les Landes).<\/p>\n<p>However, it would be too simplistic to say the Prix de Bretagne is just a 3-way affair. The likes of 5yos <strong>Akim du Cap Vert<\/strong>, who \u201cproduced a nice piece of work\u201d according to trainer Franck Anne at Graignes racetrack the other day, <strong>Anna Mix<\/strong>, driven for the first time by Pierre Vercruysse, and <strong>Aladin d\u2019Ecajeul<\/strong>, 4<sup>th<\/sup> in the 2015 Opodo Prix d\u2019Am\u00e9rique Opodo but who needs to reassure, will all be bidding to thwart their elders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Prix de Bretagne will kick off the first of 6 #opodoraces this Saturday 21st of November.
