The Prix d\u2019Am\u00e9rique Races ZEturf Qualif #5 \u2013 Prix de Bourgogne gave rise to a splendid spectacle. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.letrot.com\/stats\/fiche-cheval\/delia-du-pommereux\/ZWF8YAsEAQcB\/courses\/dernieres-performances\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Delia du Pommereux<\/a><\/strong> triumphed brilliantly. She qualified for the Finals with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.letrot.com\/stats\/fiche-cheval\/flamme-du-goutier\/ZWdbYgYIBQof\/courses\/dernieres-performances\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flamme du Goutier<\/a><\/strong>, second.<\/p>\n<p>The surprises and suspense made the Prix d\u2019Am\u00e9rique Races ZEturf Qualif #5 \u2013 Prix de Bourgogne a breathtaking race. A dramatic turn from the start: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.letrot.com\/stats\/fiche-cheval\/etonnant\/ZWZ7YwcAAQoY\/courses\/dernieres-performances\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Etonnant<\/a><\/strong>, the favourite, gallops and loses precious lengths on his rivals. Anthony Barrier, his driver, manages to put him back in pace and makes a big effort to take the lead. His excess of energy will however be detrimental to him. He cannot stem the sharp attack of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.letrot.com\/stats\/fiche-cheval\/heraut-darmes\/ZWV7YgMACwcO\/courses\/dernieres-performances\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heraut d&#8217;Armes<\/a><\/strong>, the other favorite of the public. Jean-Michel Bazire&#8217;s partner takes command at the entrance to the final bend and breaks away from the peloton. We think he&#8217;s gone for glory but a new twist!<strong> Heraut d&#8217;Armes<\/strong> gets lost in his paces and is immediately disqualified!<\/p>\n<p>Patient in the wake of the leaders,<strong> Delia du Pommereux<\/strong> took the opportunity to create the difference and win with ease. <strong>Flamme du Goutier<\/strong>, who finished pleasantly, finished second. Both get their ticket for the Finals of the Prix d\u2019Am\u00e9rique Races ZEturf competition: Prix d\u2019Am\u00e9rique <em>Legend Race<\/em>, Prix de France <em>Speed Race<\/em>, and Prix de Paris <em>Marathon Race<\/em>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.letrot.com\/stats\/fiche-cheval\/ampia-mede-sm\/ZGJaZgYAAQoB\/courses\/dernieres-performances\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ampia Mede SM<\/a><\/strong>, third, had already obtained his sesame during Qualif #1 \u2013 Prix de Bretagne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Delia du Pommereux<\/strong>, 10 years old, has been shining at the highest level since the age of 4. She broke the Group II record in 1&#8217;09&#8221;6, showing that she is still competitive in major events, to the delight of Pierre-Yves Verva, her driver: &#8220;<em>It&#8217;s magnificent. I thank everyone around the mare. I loved it. She has a wonderful track record<\/em>.&#8221; Sylvain Roger, his trainer, cannot hold back his tears after the event: \u201c<em>She is the mare of a lifetime. She has been playing at the highest level for 5 years. She had not won in 2022 and this year starts at the top&#8221;<\/em>.
